Arua Diocese Ordains one Priest and Eight Deacons.

On this memorable day of 21st of January 2023 at Ediofe Catholic Cathedral, the Diocese of Arua received a rich labourforce in the Lord's vineyard, when the Bishop of Arua Diocese, the Rt. Rev. Sabino Ocan Odoki, ordained 8 deacons and 1 priest.

Bishop Sabino told the newly ordained to be good educators of the word of God, and administer to the people of God the church's sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Confession, Holy Communion, Marriage, and Anoint of the sick.

He underscored the need for members of the congregation to be a reminder to the clergy in their service to the people of God, reminding the congregation that the Clergy are handpicked by God from amongst them and so as humans can fall short. "As humans, we sometimes fall short, so we ask the faithful and the religious to pray for us and remind us where we fall short so that we remain in the good work of the Lord."

The Bishop congratulated the newly ordained for accepting the voice of God to serve in his vineyard of the Lord, that is evangelizing and consecrating God's people through the administration of sacraments.
