18 New Aspirants Begin their Journey with MIDM
MIDM -
The Missionaries of Jesus the Divine Master have officially opened the Orientation Course 2026,
welcoming 18 new aspirants drawn from the four Ecclesiastical Provinces of Uganda. This marks
a significant moment in the ongoing mission of Vocations and Formation within the congregation.
The opening ceremony was marked by the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, presided over
by the Superior General, Very Rev. Prof. Picho Epiphany Odubker. In his address, he urged
the aspirants to imitate the Divine Master the source of life so that they may bring hope,
love, and life to a world in great need of these spiritual gifts.
He further emphasized the importance of trusting in God and
entrusting all their plans and aspirations to Him, noting that God
is the principal initiator of their vocation. The Orientation Course
is being conducted under the theme:
"Listening to the Divine Master in Order to Do His Will."
In his inaugural message, the Superior General called upon the aspirants to actively participate in all
formation programs, open themselves fully to Christ, and allow themselves to be transformed so that they may,
in turn, transform others witnessing to Jesus Christ as The Life, The Truth, The Way, and The Light.
The Church invites the faithful to keep these young men in prayer as they journey
through discernment, that they may grow into dedicated servants of God.
