Archbisop Horgan described the celebration as a sign of joy for the Church, the Institute, and the local

preside at the sacred celebration beyond his formal jurisdiction. Reflecting on the nature of consecrated
life, he emphasized that religious vows are not a private undertaking but a public ecclesial commitment,
through which consecrated persons become visible witnesses to Christ. He urged the Sisters to remain faithful
signposts, continually directing others to Christ.
Archbishop invited the faithful to contemplate time in the light of eternity, saying that while fifty years
is significant in human terms, it is a brief moment in divine time. The perseverance of the Sisters, he said,
is a testimony to God's enduring fidelity, especially amid the trials of war, displacement, and suffering
experienced in the region. Their commitment and perseverance stands as a witness to fortitude, hope, and daily
fidelity to the Gospel.
Bishop Sabino Ocan Odoki expressed gratitude to the Christian community of Moyo for accompanying the Sisters
throughout their mission, acknowledging their resilience and deep-rooted faith.
